Five firms were invited to present their plans for the new Business Centre for Limburg, that would house the Chamber of Commerce, the Limburgse Land- en Tuinbouwbond (LLTB), the Limburg Employers’ Association and SME under one roof. That roof was an existing LLTB office that would have to be combined with the adjacent,
listed Ursuline nunnery. The architectural task was to connect the two. Our firm opted to enrich the sombre buildings with a glass ellipsoid as the entrance building, but, most of all, to make the new centre visible from the N280.
